The audiobooks of The Finn Family Moomintroll read by Hugh Dennis (his portrayal of Sniff has a touch of the Ade Edmondsons)
I love these underwater images from the Arcturus expedition - and reading about the scientific women who made the trek.

Gods and Monsters, Bill Condon’s 1998 movie about the last days of James Whale, the director of Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein.
Vivid memories of watching this as a kid - about two children who go and hide out in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from the E.L Konigsburg novel
old photos.

The Golden Bough took up uncanny residence in my head, that later opened up to encompass lit crit theorising around narratology, semiotics, structuralism, postcolonialism & etc. (one wander) and lots of competing texts (eg Star Wars, LOTR) in other meandering.
Loved The Mixed Up Files movie and have a very specific recall of the girl making a ham sandwich, at least I think she did, I’ll have to watch it again. I tried to make my brother run away from home with me when I was 7 and he was 4 but we only made it to the main road.
